Amazing de-cluttered site. Long overdue (damn earthquakes) but worth the wait. Well done team!

Very much appreciate the trouble that has gone into this; the visuals are stunning and make it easy to navigate. I also like the layout which makes the various non-print resources available, eg. family history, very clear and easy to find.
Suggestions – very minor! Under About>What’s On – could “calendar” in “or check out our calendar” be turned into a link to the calendar page?
In FAQ, I think some people might want to learn how to set themselves up for Overdrive.

Thanks Penelope for your feedback and suggestions. We will see what we can do.

Can the “request an item” form have a link on the front page somewhere? And could the search bar be permanently dropped down so people can see that’s how to get to the catalogue?

Hello, thank you for your suggestion about the “request an item” form. As for the search bar, we are working with our developers on a better search solution and have suggested as you have proposed, but are still waiting to hear back. We hope to have a solution in place before the site officially goes live in December.
