Cardigan, schmardigan. Jerseys, booties and jaunty little bonnets are so last month. The cutting edge knitter is nowadays not happy with turning out a shell pink matinee jacket or cabled vest with useful pockets.

Luckily the library catalogue is right ‘On Trend’ as the fashionistas say, so you can get your fill of the funky and fabulous.

I personally love to knit mushrooms and plant them in unsuspecting gardens, and I may well knit myself a moustache for Movember. What’s the craziest thing you’ve knitted?
