Queen’s Birthday 2013

Monday 3 June is a public holiday on which New Zealand celebrates the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. 21 April was her actual birthday and she turned 87 (she was born in 1926).

It was the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. Uncoincidentally a tonnage of new books, DVDs and e-books were published about various facets of Queen Elizabeth II. Here’s a wee selection:
