    You know what’d be nerdily interesting? Pics of all the different checkout mechanisms. I remember getting the returned date stamped in the back of books, and then those funny scanners with the patterns of little circles stuck into the books.

    Actually, I remember that librarians using those scanners got RSI — that was the first time I’d heard of such a thing.
