Mr. H. Mace’s Cordial Manufactory:

In the office, which is neatly fitted up, hang the certificates of awards gained by this firm in the International Exhibition held in this city in 1882. Competing against several others—some of whom gained high honours in Melbourne, Dunedin, and elsewhere—this firm obtained the only gold medal and “First Order of Merit” for general excellence in aerated waters and cordials; a silver medal and “First Order of Merit” for sauce; and a bronze medal for sarsaparilla. The firm have also been appointed purveyors to his Excellency the Governor.
