Reuters is reporting that the seventh and final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, has pre-sold nearly 1.6 million copies. The books have been ordered through online retailer Amazon.
It’s a record figure, beating the previous 1.5 million orders notched up by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
The book will be released on July 21 – so it might be time to re-read the original books. The library has pre-ordered copies of the book and an audio recording, and earlier instalments in the series are also available in other languages.
