Gosh, that brings back memories! I scanned the photo to check there wasn’t a little me there, I would have been 6 then. I loved going to the old library and remember the smocked librarians.

The children don’t look very happy – downright surly even, as if they’re plotting to thump the nice library lady. Nasty little beggars.
